Recently, according to the Notice of the General Administration of Market Supervision on Issuing the Description and Definition Table of Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue (No.36, 2023), the products of electric pressure rice cookers (pots) were adjusted from liquid heaters (0717) to electric rice cookers (0718).
In response to this change, China Quality Certification Center (hereinafter referred to as CQC) has formulated the implementation requirements, and the notice is as follows:
1. For the electric pressure rice cooker (cooker) products, the CCC certification certificate will be issued in principle according to the 0718 category for new applications accepted since the date of promulgation of this notice.
2. For the electric pressure cooker (pot) products that have been certified according to Class 0717, the natural transition mode is adopted. When the holder submits a change application to CQC for any change requirements, the product category should be changed to Class 0718, and the testing of EMC standards (GB4343.1 and GB17625.1) should be supplemented.
